The types of Student visas:

Student visa Subclass 500:

Student visa for School Sector ,Vocational Training Sector , Higher Educational Sector  and ELICOS courses.

Student Guardian visa Subclass 590:

Student Guardian visa for individuals responsible for the welfare of an international student under 18 years of age.

Australian International  students are required the Student subclass 500 visa to study in Australia. Prior to your student visa application, you must have received a Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) from the institution of learning of your choice. The institution/ University must be registered under the Commonwealth Register of Institutions of Courses or CRICOS. After being accepted into your chosen course and institution, you will need to apply for a student visa. The main criteria  of Financial circumstances, Educational background and  Genuine Temporary Entrance are important measures  of the visa application process.  

You may be required to provide biometric information, Overseas Student Health Cover  and the Health Examination as a part of the student visa application process.  

If your student visa is approved, you can begin preparing for your arrival in Australia. This may include arranging for accommodation, packing for your trip and travelling safely. 

If you opt to change the course you will need to maintain the same level of your course.
